Operations Director, Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Care Quality Improvement Department
Royal College of Physicians North, Liverpool
RCP Regional Pay Scale Band 8 (£57,594 - £64,327 per annum)
Permanent, 35 hours per week
An exciting new opportunity have arisen for an Operations Director to join the Royal College of Physicians North, in its Care Quality Improvement Department (CQID). The CQID manages a wide variety of programmes that focus on healthcare improvement and patient safety. It has recently been restructured to realise efficiencies, maximise opportunities for teams to share skills and intelligence, enhance the impact of work and maximise benefit for patients.
Experience
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, compassionate leader who will work alongside the Clinical Directors to implement the new departmental structure, provide operational support and guidance to our well-established teams, whilst developing strategic plans to sustain and enhance work.
Successful candidates will be educated to degree level, with significant operational management experience, and be well-informed of national and international debate relating to healthcare, improvement and patient safety.
We will appoint natural collaborators who are persuasive, results-focussed and influential. Experience of creating cultures that encourage and support individual, team and organisational development is essential and important.
